Safety Tips
Safety is important to keep you
and your family from being injured or killed. Many people are injured while at home.
These injuries range from small cuts to life-threatening injuries. Many of
these can be prevented. Here are some ideas:Remember to "Pull
to the Right and STOP" whenever you see emergency lights.

Teach your children how and when
to use the 9-1-1 system.
Make sure your residence is clearly
marked so emergency personnel can find it easily .
Keep a written
medical history on hand for each member of your family. It should list allergies,
medications, and past medical problems. Have it readily available to give to emergency
medical personnel.
Get everyone in your family to take a
CPR course. Call us to find out when the next one will be held.
Try to prevent an emergency. Check
the operation of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors regularly.
Have a fire extinguisher where you
can get to it if needed.
Keep toxic substances out of the
reach of toddlers.
Look around for any dangerous
situations in your home, and fix them.
Inspect your house and yard for
hazards and fix them as soon as possible.
Know the signs and symptoms of Carbon Monoxide (CO) Poisoning and look for them, especially
in the winter.
