The South Berwick Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency ambulance service to the communities of South Berwick, ME and Rollinsford, NH. We are not a municipal agency and rely primarily on donations from the towns, and the fundraising drive to cover our operating expenses. South Berwick Rescue was incorporated in January 1961 as a not for profit corporation and remains so to this day.

We operate two ambulances that have the latest in EMS equipment and supplies. Our members are primarily volunteers who dedicate much of their free time training and perfecting skills to perform this vital service.  We do utilize paid employees to cover our weekday shifts.  These employees provide many administrative and EMS duties.
