Neighbors In Time Of Need.

Your neighbors need your help.
Will you heed the call?

What is the South Berwick Rescue Squad?

The South Berwick Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency ambulance service to the communities of South Berwick and Rollinsford. We are not a municipal agency and rely primarily on donations from the towns, and the fundraising drive to cover our operating expenses.

How do I call for an ambulance?

Dial 9-1-1. The dispatcher will take down your information and send an ambulance. Don’t hang up the phone until you are told to do so by the dispatcher!

I need to go to the hospital for tests,
will South Berwick Rescue take me there?

Sorry, our ambulances are dedicated to providing emergency service only. Consult the phone book for a list of agencies providing routine transfers.

What towns do you cover?

South Berwick Rescue provides Emergency Medical Services to the communities of South Berwick, ME and Rollinsford, NH.  We only accept subscriptions from residents of those two towns.

What are your hours?

Emergency ambulance service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our business office can be reached Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm.

I have more questions, how do I contact you?

We can be contacted by telephone, mail, or e-mail.
